Open Question: I want to tone up and slim down, am I doing this right?

I'm 22 years old, 155 pounds and 5'10" tall Here is my routine: Early morning run (just under one mile) followed by a series of crunches and leg exercises (about 10 minutes worth). Then I eat 4-5 eggs with a cup of mozzarella and about 6 pieces of bacon. The rest of the day I eat hard boiled eggs whenever I'm hungry and a late lunch of chicken or another meat, also with hard boiled eggs. If yes, how long should I expect it to take? And of course if I'm going about this all wrong what do you recommend? I'm following the egg diet, lol- probably should have metioned that =)...
